Non-profit

Mission Statement

Brigid's Path was founded with one goal in mind: to improve the health of newborn babies and mothers impacted by addiction. We offer grace for the past, support for the present, and hope for the future.

About

Our work is centered around five values: We are grounded in faith. All people are worthy of our respect without condition. Every person has value and deserves love, grace and forgiveness. We are bold. We are creating a new way to care for substance-exposed babies and their mothers. We are the first facility in Ohio and the second in the nation to offer in-patient, home-like approach to serving babies born exposed to addictive substances. We strive for a spirit of humility. Our work takes courage and perseverance, but also grace. We are constantly learning and trying to grow; we do not have all the answers. We are good stewards. Brigid’s Path takes prayerful, calculated risks. We serve with a clear intentional purpose: to help mothers and babies in the crisis of addiction and prenatal substance exposure. We are family champions. We believe in the strength of families and that families can – and do – contribute to the successful treatment of our patients. Stronger families build stronger communities.
