CASA volunteers are appointed by one of the Circuit Court judges in Boone, Cabell, Calhoun, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Putnam, Roane and Wayne counties to advocate for the best interest of an abused child in the court system.
CASA volunteers must make a one-year commitment, successfully pass screening and background checks, and complete 35 hours of local training.
